The venue has a good dance floor. However, the lineup is weak, with beginner DJs who mostly play styles other than forró, and also inexperienced teachers. The music volume is extremely low, which affects the overall atmosphere. It’s a nice initiative to include a samba circle and a dedicated samba space. When a Brazilian is invited to lead a cultural discussion, it’s important that foreigners take a more attentive, listening role, rather than positioning themselves as a judges.
